Sakshi’s Personal Story: Battling Severe IBS and Searching for Answers

I am 31 year old female suffering from IBS from last two years, its very severe at the moment with diarrhoea, feeling of non empty of bowel, which leads to reflux – feeling if vomiting and eventually vomit!
Not sure if vomiting is part of IBS?
I have lost 20 kilos in weight (blessing in disguise) and i am currently in severe back pain due to Gas.
What helps me are hot water bottle, light diet and some exercise.
I have recently started Ayurvedic meds – results are yet to be shown.
The doctors in Uk had put me on antidepressant for IBS which dint help – wonder why you would do that to someone who is not depressed!!
It’s clearly some issue with stomach that doctors have failed to diagnose and address! This has taken over my whole life!
